We work with immigrant families and refugees in various ways. This is extremely important because every new immigrant or refugee in our operational area is expected to undergo several processes to integrate fully. Immigrants and refugees face extreme problems in accessing opportunities for transportation, housing, education, and work. We work with collaborating partners by referring qualified immigrants/refugees to benefit from the services that are provided by our partners or the government, including Pro-Bono legal services. These services are provided FREE of charge to individuals facing these kinds of challenges.
We hold periodic meetings with immigrant/refugee communities and provide resourceful information to help them find opportunities for capacity building, education, transcription, housing, computer literacy, etc.
